Welcome to the CAFO Champion Advocates program!

Advocacy on behalf of vulnerable children and families brings unique challenges.

From issues of privacy and protection to complicated problems with sensitive responses – we know how challenging it can be to serve in your role as a communicator and advocate.

Through the Champion Advocates program curriculum, we aim to connect you with ideas, information, and other people committed to advocacy work so that we can grow together. 

This on-demand course integrates biblically-rooted themes intended to strengthen your understanding of various issues and guidance to help you communicate these truths into your rhythms of storytelling and communication. 

The content includes:

• Essential Truths - Explore topics and themes related to caring for orphaned and vulnerable children and families, so our advocacy is helping to mainstream effective care for children and families.
• Advocacy Highlights - Learn best practices and key principles of communications to support your advocacy work.
• Deep-Dive Communications Resources - Discover bonus resources to help you develop specific communications skills in areas like media engagement, social media and presenting.
